June 1947
Ltd. was established at 1-8 Nihonbashi Horidome-cho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo with a capital of 180,000 yen for the purpose of producing and selling natural resins. Osaka Sales Office established at the same time.
September 1947
Company name changed to "Nippon Jushi Kagaku K.K." (Japan Plastics & Chemicals Co., Ltd.)
November 1949
New head office building was built at 4-9 Nihonbashi-Honcho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, and a warehouse was built at Fukuzumi, Koto-ku, Tokyo.
December 1951
Merged with wholly owned subsidiary Fuji Trading Co. Ltd. and took over its trading business.
January 1960
Nagoya Sales Office was established.
July 1960
Increased capital to 10 million yen.
September 1960
Opened Fukuoka Sales Office.
March 1970
Merged with Nippon Chemical Industry Co.
Ltd. and changed company name to Toyo Chemicals Co.
