<Product overview>
Melamine reacts with formaldehyde to produce methylolmelamine. Methylolmelamine is used as a raw material for thermosetting resins (melamine resins), and most of the melamine produced is used for synthetic resins.
Melamine resin has excellent heat resistance, water resistance, and mechanical strength, and is therefore used in wood adhesives such as outdoor plywood, paints, laminates, molded products, and resin processing of textiles and paper.
